Bishop Julian Turner…Somewhat New to the “Music Industry”, but not to the “Music Ministry.” Bishop Dr. Julian Erwin Turner, Sr., was born into a rich history of ministry roots. The 11th child to the late “Jessie and Estelle Turner”, it would soon become apart to all that watched his development from his childhood that Bishop Turner would be destined for greatness.
Bishop Julian Turner established himself as an authoritative voice of Contemporary Gospel with his debut song with the same Album Name, “I’ve Got It”… Followed by the invigorating “Let’s Move For Jesus”, the latter inspired by dynamic former FLOTUS Michelle Obama and her mission of getting America back to physical fitness and fierceness. When asked about this song, Dr. Turner summed it up in these words, “We haven’t stopped dancing, we have simply changed partners.” Following ‘this up-tempo foot moving song’ came, “Amazing”, ‘a brassy praise song with a pop melody’ propelled by a vigorous island beat, and Featuring “The Turner Family” with their “Amazing Harmonies”.
